Chris and Diane Baker, the owners of James Ponds, believe that when you have passion for what you do it shows in your work. We are not a "jack of all trades" landscape company for whom water features are but a small part of our business. You can be sure that the quality of our work will reflect our 100% committment to water features. We strongly believe in "Ponds Done Right, Customers Served Right".

We enjoy all aspects of water gardening (well maybe not the digging) and love to share that enjoyment with our customers. As we are Certified Aquascape Contractors (CAC's) you can be sure that you are getting one of the most knowledgeable and fully-trained companies in the country to install your water feature for you.

Another Reason to Consider James Ponds.....

We regularly take part in assisting the construction experts at Aquascape™, Inc. (the largest pond supply company in North America) in the building of advanced water features and have done so in such varied places as Ireland, Cabo San Lucas Mexico, and at the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival in Disney World. The national and regional network of CAC's give us the ability and manpower to tackle just about any size water feature including the exciting and growing fields of constructed wetland filtration and rain water harvesting which not only is great for our landscape but also helps reduce the amount of run off entering our storm drains which in the long run ends up in our rivers and oceans.

2008 Bucks County Designer House

In 2008 we were selected as the water garden experts for the Bucks County Designer House, and have been displaying there every May. We also have had the pleasure of appearing on Comcast's "American Builder" on two occasions, helping them to construct a beautiful backyard water feature.

James Ponds deals in the Aquascape™ brand water feature equipment. We have taken many training courses and firmly believe in the product that we are installing. We offer continued support throughout the life of all our ponds. Whilst we install Aquascape™ systems, we do offer maintenance on all existing ponds. In some instances we can convert an existing troublesome pond over to a low maintenance Aquascape pond. Water features are our passion  and it is our goal that everyone enjoy their water garden as much as we enjoy ours.

What is a Certified Aquascape Contractor?

Choosing a Certified Aquascape Contractor (CAC) is one of the best decisions you can make when looking to install your own water garden. Certified Aquascape Contractors are the most qualified and informed pond installers in the water gardening industry. When you choose a Certified Aquascape Contractor, you are choosing The Best of the Best!

Of over 44,000 contractors there are roughly 334 Certified Aquascape Contractors and 245 apprentices nationwide. We have been a CAC since 2005 and as of January 2011 are one of only 13 in  Pennsylvania.

Why Choose a CAC?

All contractors who wish to become Certified Aquascape Contractors must complete an in-depth application that includes referrals, pictures of completed ponds, and general questions about their business and water gardening philosophy. These applications are then reviewed by Technical Agents at Aquascape, Inc. and a review board made up of other established CAC's.

Certified Contractors are reviewed continually throught their involvement and are required to keep up yearly training and reviews.
